One of our best values just got better. The premium polyester fabric resists wrinkles, machine washes and never needs pressing -- now with French fly and extended fly lining for comfort and improved belt loops (tucked and sewn into the waistband for added strength.) Available in two great styles: plain or pleated fronts! Best of all, these great slacks are priced unbelievably low. Numerous tailoring extras. Imported.

"I purchased 2 pair of these slacks for my husband. He is required to wear a sports jacket and tie, so he goes through a lot of dress slacks. The quality was compairable with high-end dept. stores, but for less than half the price! These slacks wash and dry nicely without any fuss. I intend to purchase more while they are on sale. Great Value, Blair!!!"

"These pants are definitely well worth the price and then some. They feel just as good as $50+++ priced slacks if not better. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that is in need of slacks or just a comfortable pair of pants."

"I have been purchasing these pants for about 20 years now. They have been great up until I ordered 3 more pair in June. The slacks are now being made with very shallow back pockets. This is not good because a man's regular wallet doesn't fit properly and can be pick-pocketed or fall out too easily. Also, the waistband liner needs to be tacked down more securely. I regret that I had to return 2 or the 3 pair of these pants due to the "pocket" problem." I do hope Blair will get this resolved...these are a great bargain if you can keep your wallet!"

"These pants are a great value for the money. My husband has worn these pants for years. They hold up well for every day work. They also hold up well in washing and retain their crease. He likes them because they have a little more give in them than 100% cotton. Additionally they fit well and look nice as a business casual slack."

"I have been purchasing these slacks for my husband for 20 yrs. They are a wonderful value & if properly cared for last a long time. However, the slacks are now being made with very shallow rear pockets. This is not good because a man's regular wallet doesn't fit properly and can fall out too easily. Also, the waistband liner needs to be tacked down more securely. I regret that I had to return 14 pair of these pants due to the "pocket" problem."

"John Blair dress slacks are the perfect marriage of value, fit and style. Good-looking enough for any office, yet sturdy and machine-washable, so you save on dry-cleaning! I wear a shirt and tie each day to work, but not a suit, and John Blair dress slacks are my wardrobe "go to" pants!"

"For the last 3 years, these have been that best value I have found on the market for dress slacks. I wear them daily. My only complaint is less than adequate tacking of the inner waist liner, which is white and tends, over time, to roll up. On several pair, I have oversewn this to keep it in place."

"I am a Security Officer and wear the navy blue John Blair #34221 as a uniform trouser. I purchased three pair of these trousers about six months ago and wear them five to six days each week.
These trousers fit well, they look good, and they are comfortable.
The pant is of polyester construction and has resisted the formation of nubbies or pills at wear points. The waist band is well formed and does not roll. I have had no problems with seams except for one cuff, and that was quickly and easily repaired. After many washings, there is no pucker at the seams and the crease is still sharp. There has been no color fading.
The fit was correct right out of the box. No alterations were needed.
If I could recommend improvements, it would be to add a second closure clasp to even the pull of the waistband."

"Overall I own these pants in khaki, navy, and black. I would recommend them to others. They are definitely not as fancy as wool dress pants, but they fit well, are durable, and can't be beat on price. Fit Normally I wear a 38" waist x 36" inseam. However, the 38" waist was too small for me in these pants. I returned them for the 40" waist x 36" inseam. The new pair fit great. Fabric & Construction These pants are 100% polyester and they are not lined to the knee like other dress pants I own. The polyester tends to be a little bit shiny compared to my wool dress pants, but it's not too bad and doesn't prevent me from wearing them to work (I work at a bank.) The polyester is great in that it doesn't get "nubby" like other pants I own. For convenience, I typically have these pants dry cleaned and can say that they hold up well to dry cleaning. One other thing to note is that these pants come with a straight hem and are not cuffed. The hem did fall in one pair that I ordered, but that was easily fixed. Value The price of these pants is the reason I tried them in the first place. These pants are 1/4 of the price of my wool dress pants. For the price, these pants can't be beat."

not valid product,
November 9, 2007

"I ordered 4 pair of paints. I wore 1 pair. I had trouble putting my wallet in the rear pocket. The pockets were way to short. At first it looked like the pocket was half sowed short, this was not the case. It was half the size it should have been. I examined the other three pair. Two were the same as the first. The other one looked like it was normal. At this point I was completely dissatisfied. Other wise the quality was not bad, but nothing great. I feel this should have been checked before shipping. This is completely uncalled for. I feel I should not have to pay shipping on a poor quality product."
