"I ADORE this cape. It is so warm. Comfortable to wear, easy to throw on and head out the door. I ordered the camel color, and am now ordering the claret. I got them both on the sale price, so this is a definate value. Beautifuly made, so soft, and the fabric is a very thick fleece. I got Much more than expected."

"I live in Tucson, so this is a good winter coat, where it can be quite chilly in the early mornings, but warm up a lot by mid-day. It will keep you warm, but because it is a cape, it can be unbuttoned and the air can circulate very well through it, as the day starts to warm up, so you aren't roasting in it! In colder areas of the country, it would not be suitable for true winter wear, but it would be a fine choice for fall and spring, where temperatures can fluctuate a lot during the course of a day. I love the attached hood, which I can just pop on or off as needed, and it doesn't squash my hairdo down like a hat. Plus the hood can keep my neck warm, too. Because this is a cape, not a true coat, it feels much more comfortable when you sit down in the car. I hate that feeling of close-fitting winter coats that can feel tight in the seat or at the armpits when you drive a car, where it puts tension on the coat's inner lining and might tear it. This cape's fabric is very soft, cuddly, and without heaviness to weigh you down. I give this cape 2 ribbons for fit, only to be absolutely fair, since it really is a "one size fits all." I'm 5'4" tall, wear a size 12, and it's a nice, flowing fit that I like. Plus, I got it in black, which is always a "diminishing" color. So I'm very happy with the fit. I also love the fit because I wear a lot of loose, flowing clothes, anyway, and the cape does not crush and wrinkle the clothing fabrics like a tighter-fitting coat would...especially loose-fitting blouse sleeves that would otherwise bunch up under a regular coat. This cape looks well with either more formal dresses and skirts, even if they are ankle-length, or with casual slacks. The cape even comes with an extra button, which I appreciate. Since this cape has such an easy, flowing fit, I think it could make a nice gift for people of various sizes. I haven't worn it nearly enough to need to launder it yet, but I'm not worried about it. There's no liner to it, and I don't anticipate any problems. If this cape should ever "wear out," I would just buy another one from Blair, if possible!"

"I wear size 12 and I am 5'3" tall and this cape was way too big for me. I had my mom try it - she's wears extra large - and it was too big for her as well. Unfortunately, it only looked good on the hanger. This is going back ASAP. In my opinion this would only fit well on a tall, full figured woman."
