"I was up for a promtion and purchased both the red and the blue for interviews. I thought they looked nice and business. However, the fabric snags and pulls, which is not normal for Blair's products. I feel that I have to be careful when I wear them. They are good year round ,as the dress itself is great for summer and with the jacket for the rest of the year. I did get the promotion and think in part to the dresses."

Unusual, shiny fabric,

"I returned this item, for one reason only: the shiny fabric, which I did not realize from the picture. The style was exactly right for the office and dressier occasions, the workmanship looked fine, it had the versatility of two pieces and the color was a rich cranberry marled finely with black. But the material was extremely shiny, somewhat like a sweater knit out of cellophane. What I particularly like about Blair's clothes is their understated design: that I wear them rather than the other way around, but I would have felt self-conscious in such a peculiar fabric. Blair's customer service is always excellent and I was able to return this with no problem. If you like the combination of classic design with very unusual fabric, this might be just the outfit for you."
