"Although I purchased my retro stool about 2 years ago (didn't think about reviewing it then) I am still very happy w/the purchase. Like some others, it reminded me of one that I used as a little girl. The difference is this one has a padded seat and a back to the seat. So it's an improvement but close enough to the one I used over 45 years ago. And even after 2 years of regular use by my little grandchildren it's still in great shape."

"I ordered two of these for Christmas presents and after they arrived, another daughter requested one for her birthday. It is excellent for a buster chair and steps are okay as a step stool, but not made like the old chairs I remember. It seems sturdy and my girls really like them. I would actually give a four and a half it was available."
