"I bought my husband this Western sportcoat as a gift. It is so handsome looking, and he loves it! It looks casual with a sport shirt or Western shirt, a pair of jeans, and cowboy boots & hat. Or it can look more business-like with a dressier shirt and trousers. It looks very nice with a Western tie.
The coat says it is 100% silk, but the fabric over the shoulders has the look and feel of suede, not regular cloth. The jacket is well-constructed, with some extra nice touches inside: the armpit area is reinforced with the same cloth as the outside of the garment, so the silk lining is less exposed to wear and tear at the bottom of the armholes. Also, 2 inside breast pockets have silk flaps to button those pockets closed.
As my husband is not tall, it is really great that I could order this sportcoat in "short," instead of having to get a "regular" altered by a tailor. It fits just right!
He also has some other "Personal Choice" label sports coats from Blair. He's happy with the fabrics and fit of all of them. Thanks, Blair!"
