"I bought this jacket YEARS ago and it remains my favorite! It is roomy and comfy and warm and beautiful -- I get asked about it all the time. Its longer length adds to the warmth. It has four big pockets in front that I use all the time. I have thought about buying a back-up, but mine is still in terrific shape after all these years."

"I just received this jacket, but I am going to return it. The styling, length and colors are lovely, but the bulk will make you look twice as heavy! My main problem was the sleeves. They made me look like I was the Incredible Hulk! If the sleeves weren't quite so puffy and big then it would be a keeper, but back it goes. Also....I am from Calif. and I really don't think I will ever use this heavy a coat out here, so will stick with Blair's fleece jackets which are always perfect."

"Oh dear! With all these great reviews I hate to post this one. I'm a size medium and with all the other reviews saying to take a large, I did. The large does fit well around the torso (I'm a 36 at the bust if that helps), and gives you some layering room underneath, but the sleeves drop so much and make you look so wide at the shoulder and top of the sleeve. The sleeves are also very bulky, and that along with the drop made me look like a football player with a gender identity problem.
The bottom is also a blouson look, and even though it skimmed my hips it looked bulky on the bottom too. This jacket just made me look so BIG! Not the look I was going for, thank you very much.
Also, there are NINE snaps to contend with every time you want to take it on and off. It seems nice and warm, and the embroidery and patchwork are pretty, but this is going right back...sigh! If you're a skinny mini and take the small, maybe this would work for you!"

"I have had this jacket for years now and it is without a doubt the best value anywhere. I have the blue denim and black denim. I bought my daughter the blue and we have used them as the coat we throw into the car for just in case for years. It is warm, sturdy and attractive to wear. You canot beat this coat."

"I ordered the jacket to take on a trip to Maine and I was not disappointed! At the top of chilly, windy Cadillac Mountain where we had driven to watch the sunset, I was so happy to have this warm, comfortable denim jacket on! As another reviewer has said, it truly was like being "wrapped in Grandma's quilt"! The design is wonderful, too, and is suitable for any age. I'm looking forward to wearing it this fall."

"I bought this coat several years ago and it still looks and feels like brand new AND is still stylish. It washes and dries up beautifully. The jacket is HEAVY but comfortable - super warm and very cozy" with fleecy lining inside & in the pockets-Great for those winter foot ball games, outdoor Fall clean-up or trekking in the snow for Christmas trees. Get the coat a size bigger or so it rides at your hips and not so bulky. I bought one for my daughter in law, too. We both love it!"

"It's a gorgeous jacket!!! I'm wearing it already for four years and it still looks like new, even after all washings. Now I ordered one for my cousin, as a present. Tip: order one size bigger, then it's roomy and cosy, otherwise it's too tight for a winter jacket."

"I had to return this jacket but it broke my heart. This is the most wonderful winter jacket anyone could own especially if one lives in a cold climate. Everything about it was wonderful but I'm 4' 11" and the jacket went down to my knees. What a shame!!! I wanted to cry!!! I tried it on and it was SOOOO warm and everything else about it was wonderful. It looked great and it was warmer than anything I'd previously had. It was worth the original price and a bargain at $40.!!!! Anyone who is normal size would love this jacket. You can't know how badly I felt about having to return it!!!!"
