"these pants were not made for someone who is not a stiick, do not fit well on a slightly heavier person, if you have any paunch at all the pants hang wrong in the front and pull"

"Have bought several pairs of these pants for myself and my mother and I have been thrilled with them. they fit well and wash well and don't need ironing if you take them out of the dryer as soon as they are dried. Hope you continue to carry them."

"These pants are a wonderful basic addition to any wardrobe. They are comfortable and great in the summer since they are cool and wrinkles are not noticable. They last for years and come in so many great colors! I have had several pair in my wardrobe for over ten years, since they are a timeless style. I recently lost a lot of weight and like these pants so well I have been replacing them in a smaller size. I love to wear a pair of these pants with a tunic top and it is like wearing your pajamas to work! They are that comfortable."

"After having read all the good reviews on the Calcutta cloth pants, I decided to get three pairs for myself. I ordered a size larger than I would usually wear in case they shrunk a bit in the wash and was shocked at how poorly the pants fit even in the larger size. The cut of the fabric was not at all generous and the material felt very coarse. Washing did nothing to improve the roughness. I am very disappointed in these pants."

"I purchased these pants for the first time a few years ago and loved both the fit and the light weight feel during New York summers, particularly. Thinking a car repair would take but a moment, I did not change out of my calcutta pants (light blue), only to absolutely destroy them with oil, or so I thought. But, talk about unbelievable fabric and construction, I soaked them in a bleach solution to remove the oil (it was all over the pants) and then washed them per instructions, convinced that they would at best come out with oil stains and no color - they came out just as good as new and I wore them proudly for several years thereafter! Amazing and soooo comfortable!"
