"I love this spread. I have been looking for a long time for a chenille spread. Of course not like the ones of my youth, but comes close. I like the weight of it, and of the feel. The color is perfect. Sage. Good deal for the money. I do recommend this to anyone."

"When I received the bedspread I was disappointed, because the color of the "Slate Blue" was not the same as the picture. It was more grayish than in the picture. The quality of the product I felt was poor. I have owned chenille bedspreads before, but this one wasn't like the others. It was cheaply made. I returned the product. The price was good, but the quality was not. I guess you get what you pay for!"

"The bedspread is really beautiful, but boy does it shed. I've washed it several times and it keeps on shedding. I have to admit, though, that it is very soft and looks great on the bed. Perfect fit!"

"Love the feel of this bedspread, but unfortunatly forget about washing it!!!It sheds like crazy, in my washer and the dryer..After I took it out of the washer had all this fuzz in there..Shook it outside and it looked like I had snow on my front lawn, and I live in Florida. Would not recomend this bedspread to anyone, very dissatsfied"

"This pretty bedspread is exactly what I have been looking for. I really appreciate a lighter weight bedspread for year round use. The color I chose (sage ) was just the right shade of green. The bedspread does shed the first few times it is washed and dried but that is to be expected with a chenille spread. I am very happy with this product."

"I bought this bedspread for summer use and am very pleased with it's weight and softness.
I ordered a size smaller than my bed so I could use it like a comforter with my winter bed skirt.....it looks very nice and has a very feminine look this way. Also, the corners of the bedspread are very long and have a beautiful drape and used this way do not drape onto the floor. Very pleased!"

"I agree with the previous reviewer that if a shipment is late, the customer should be reimbursed at least for the shipping costs. I had a similar issue with my first Blair order, but I was very happy with the merchandise, and that made up for the late shipment.
As for this bedspread, I ended up returning it for the following reasons:
1. The vanilla color is what I ordered, hoping it would look more gold than yellow. Unfortunately, it was more of a light mustard like color.
2. The fabric is not as thick as the previous chenille bedspread I purchased (diamond pattern that is mostly out of stock now). As a result, especially since the color is so light, when I placed it on the bed, over some dark objects, the dark color showed through. This would mean that I could only use very light colored linens under this one. I didn't want to invest in something that would limit me to a choice of linen colors in the future.
3. The fabric itself, as stated earlier, is not as thick as I expected, and I didn't think it was worth this amount. I would have kept it if it had been half price.
Blair - I wish you'd get back the Diamond Chenille Bedspread in more colors. I wish it would have come in a deep gold and others. It was a much better buy than this one."

"I have had the bedspread for about 2 months now and have been quite satisfied. The design and color is what I expected. However, it was on backorder and I had to wait for about a month. If you need to wait so long or your order is delayed for some reason I believe you should be given some sort of a discount for your wait or maybe free shipping."
