"My husband really likes the lined collars & cuffs. They seem to hold the construction of the garment best and they look pressed right out of the dryer. These are not a heavy flannel but right for in-between seasons. They launder real nice and are soft. Glad to know where we can purchase future shirts."

"I get these shirts for my dad. He likes the acrylic because it wears better than cotton. He also needs a Tall size and these shirts in Tall fit him well. I have purchased at least 5 of these shirts for him and will likely get more in the future."

Better to stay warm than cotton flannel!, April 23, 2008

"I bought these to use as a light-weight layering shirt to use hunting during November in Michigan's Upper Penninsula. The acrylic is much warmer than the older "brawny-weight" cotton flannel shirts. I have now finally given those to my wife for sleep shirts. She was always stealing them anyway!
The acrylic material does not absorb moisture like cotton, but works with layering clothes to transport moisture to outer layer clothes and evaporate quickly. This keeps you warmer by not being damp and clammy.
These weigh 1/3 of the old cotton shirts, fit and retain that fit thru multiple washings and button holes don't stretch out. They come out of the dryer wrinkle free and stay that way. They do tend to pull out of your pants waistband if you do a lot of reaching overhead, but most shirts do anyway.
They are soft to touch and if you wear a T-shirt, they are not scratchy at all. Even without a T, they are not bad to me.
The various colors and patterns make for a nice change of pace from the old "buffalo plaid" flannels of the old days. They retain their colors really well too.
I have 4 of these and will buy more. I did not expect them to be as warm as the super brawny weight flannels I used to use, but they are. This is a must buy for anyone who works or plays outdoors."

"I ordered this shirt for my husband, but he asked me to wash it first because it was scratchy. After I washed (with fabric softener) he said to send it back because he won't wear it. He said the fabric is not soft and it is very scratchy."
