"I am an owner / avid collector of ties -- I own hundreds of ties ranging from top Italian designers, to little known boutiques, to mass-produced "affordable" ties. My purchases are dictated by style and quality, not necessarily price tag.
This Blair purchased tie, by Irvine Park to be exact, is fantastic! Soft, pure silk; feels and looks kind of like a Brioni or Ferragamo, with a colorful printed (not woven) floral design. Nice lustre as well. I was completely and utterly surprised for such an amazingly low price! My first Blair purchase too (definitely not my last).
What I also like about this tie is the nuetral black background combined with multi-color foreground elements, allowing it to pair with just about any shirt color (especially white-collar contrast shirts). Highly versatile, and looks excellent! Gives your overall look a bit of Italian / British flair, if paired with the right shirt and suit / jacket.
My only critique was some of the loose silk -- factory flaw. Mass production can do this often, but it was easily fixed by nipping off the excess silk fly-aways CAREFULLY with scissors. Now it looks perfect.
Do not hesitate to buy!"

"This is the first tie I have ordered from Blair. I've bought many shirts, dress and casual, from them along with jeans, etc but this is my first tie and I really liked the way it felt, the way it sits when tied and the over all look of it. I will be ordering ties with my dress shirts from now on."
