"I bought this because the one that came with my mattress had ripped on the sides due to the paper-like material used in it's construction. When I received this one, I knew right away that it would last. The sides are made of a nice thick knit that will hold up to washings and even my husband's tossing and turning! The top is not too thick but thick enough to add a buffer to the plastic underneath. It is quiet and comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone."
